Temperature Probes and Sensors ( for options # 711, 712, 713, 714B and 714C )

The internal buzzer is not very loud and for applications where a loud Horn or Siren is needed,
an external Horn / Buzzer may be installed. It can be controlled by the clock internal relay ( option # 727 ) that is operated automatically by the programmable timers, counters or temperature alarms.

All SELENA clocks include Internal Piezo Buzzers for Alarms
initiated by the clock timers, counters or temperature monitors..

The temperature monitoring, programmable thermostat and control options require an internal or external temperature sensor probe. The standard sensor normally included with the selected option may not be the most suitable model for each application and therefore a specific probe model may be ordered.
The selection below shows some of the available models and mounting accessories.
NOTE, that the probe wiring may be extended up to 500 ft ( 150 m ) with any type of a 2-conductor cable.

In some installations like Gym, Bus Station, Swimming Pools etc..., the clock may have to be protected against accidental damage by a flying object or debris. The protective covers made out of Acrylic or Lexan are highly impact resistant and fully transparent.

RS232 to RS485 serial CONVERTER module ( option # 901 )

This converter may be used to provide RS485 serial communication where only RS232 or USB port is available.
One side plugs into RS232 serial port or extension cable and the RS485 wires may be connected to the terminal block on the other side.
RS485 communication allows for sending reliably fast data over long distance using just a simple pair of wires ( 2-conductor cable ) that does not have to be shielded.

USB to RS232 serial CONVERTER module ( option # 903 )

This converter may be used to connect a USB port in computers to an RS232 serial device.

One side plugs into the USB serial port or extension cable and the RS232 side 9 pin connector may be connected to the device or an extension cable
